Accounts Receivable - Finance

Role Overview: As an Accounts Receivable professional in the Finance department, your primary responsibility is to generate and share accurate customer invoices in compliance with contractual terms. You will be maintaining updated records of accounts receivable transactions, preparing revenue reports, aging reports, and cash flow statements. Additionally, reconciling accounts and resolving billing discrepancies with clients will be part of your duties. You will collaborate with internal teams to address client-specific billing requirements, assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, and ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and controls. Key Responsibilities: - Generate and share accurate customer invoices in compliance with contractual terms - Maintain updated records of accounts receivable transactions - Prepare revenue reports, aging reports, and cash flow statements - Reconcile accounts and resolve billing discrepancies with clients - Collaborate with internal teams to address client-specific billing requirements - Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes - Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and controls Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, preference for B.Com or M.Com degree - Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or similar role - Strong understanding of accounting principles related to receivables - Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, SAP, or ERP systems - Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and basic formulas Additional Details: You should demonstrate good communication and negotiation abilities for effective client follow-ups, the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within tight deadlines, and possess an analytical mindset with keen attention to detail.,
