Accounts Payable Analyst

As a member of the team at Mphasis, your role will involve managing the relationship with vendors, identifying opportunities to improve invoicing terms, handling queries from suppliers/customers, and managing escalations related to invoices. You will also be responsible for ensuring that service level agreements are met for invoice processing procedures. Additionally, you will generate MIS and reports for all activities, including control and exception reports. Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed. Key Responsibilities: - Manage vendor relationships and recommend opportunities for improving invoicing terms - Handle queries from suppliers/customers and manage escalations related to invoices - Ensure service level agreements are met for invoice processing procedures - Generate MIS and reports, including control and exception reports Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in accounting - Exposure to SAP, CREED, and BASWARE will be advantageous - Knowledge of bookkeeping and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Express - Advanced abilities in collaboration, managing client requests, and answering queries - Familiarity with AP process and AP automation solution - Knowledge of legal framework governing invoicing and invoice processing - Knowledge of Canadian laws on invoice processing will be an advantage Please note that candidates must be comfortable working complete night shifts as this position requires 100% office work.
