JOB ROLE - ACCOUNTS PAYABLE

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Review invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment
• Perform invoice and general-ledger data entry and reconciliation
• Execute credit card and bank account reconciliation
• Generate purchase orders when necessary
• Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Communicate with vendors to resolve any issues related to payments or invoices.
• Verify vendor accounts, pay vendors and resolve purchase order, invoice or payment discrepancies
• Issue purchase order amendments and stop payments
• Manage the accounts payable email inbox and respond to inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable, including reconciliations and accruals.
• Monitor accounts payable aging reports and ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices.
• Provide support for other accounting and finance functions as needed.
• Keep informed of regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting
• Invoice validation and processing and routing for approval in PO system.

Must haves:

• 2+year(s) of experience with Accounts Payable
• Excellent with communication
• Should have good experience into MS Excel

• B.com/MBA/M.com

• Shift Timings: UK Shift (12:30 PM to 10 PM/1:30 PM to 11 PM IST)
