Job Description

Sikich is seeking a candidate with strong leadership skills to drive sales efforts, manage client relationships, and achieve targets within the life sciences sector. The ideal candidate will excel in leading sales teams, developing strategies, and ensuring successful execution of corporate and inside sales initiatives.


Experience Required:


Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Corporate Sales

    : Lead and manage corporate sales activities, targeting life sciences organizations to promote and sell software solutions
  • Corporate Inside Sales

    : Oversee inside sales operations, ensuring effective lead generation, follow-up, and conversion
  • Develop and Maintain Client Relationships

    : Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction with the software solutions provided
  • Devise Sales Communication Strategy

    : Develop and implement effective sales communication strategies to engage potential clients and convey the value of the software solutions
  • Sales Targets

    : Set and achieve sales targets, monitoring performance and implementing strategies to meet or exceed goals
  • Market Analysis

    : Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay informed about industry trends and competitors
  • Sales Presentations

    : Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients
  • Contract Negotiation

    : Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring favourable terms for both the company and the client
  • Collaboration

    : Work closely with the marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure alignment and support for sales activities
  • Reporting

    : Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement


Requirements:

  • Educational Background:

    A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, life sciences, or a related discipline
  • Experience:

    Several years of experience in sales, preferably in the life sciences or software industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Skills:

    Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Knowledge of the Life Sciences industry and software solutions
  • Sales Expertise:

    Proficiency in corporate and inside sales techniques and strategies
  • Client Relationship Management:

    Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Communication:

    Excellent communication skills for engaging clients and delivering presentations
  • Strategic Thinking:

    Ability to develop and implement effective sales communication strategies
  • Analytical Skills:

    Strong analytical skills to conduct market research and analyse sales data
  • Leadership:

    Ability to lead and motivate a sales team to achieve targets
