Accounts Manager

• Expert in managing financial accounting in ERP environment, as per the accounting standards and Indian GAAP
• Experienced in managing Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivable, GL accounting, Fixed Assets and banking.
• Ensure that all entries are being supported with proper bills, invoices, vouchers, and supporting documents.
• Ensure intercompany accounting and reconciliations are done on a monthly basis
• Responsible for periodic compliance with respect to Income Tax / GST / PF /ESI & PT.
• All returns or filings to statutory bodies to be reviewed and communicated with tax consultants / tax manager to ensure these compliances are done before due dates
• This position requires partnering with the principal and other department heads in taking business decisions by providing business insights through analytics.
• Ensure budgets are being prepared in line with the group guidelines and monthly variance analysis is done and presented to the management team.
• Monitor dues, collections and Cash Flow.
• Ensure company policies and processes are being followed by all the departments in financial transactions.
• Ability to strengthen the existing policies and processes that bring financial control and governance in the system to ensure adequate internal controls are in place.
• Working knowledge in ERP systems in organization having multiple entities is required.
• Review monthly payroll process and ensure 100% accuracy and timely Salary payments to employees
• This position will manage a team of Five members.
• Direct reporting to the College Principal and correspondent and dotted line to regional finance function.
• A Qualified M.COM and MBA Finance Accountant having post qualification experience of 5-10 years
• Overview preparation & monitoring of budgets
• Submit regular financial reports to the Governing board, including monthly profit and loss by each entity (Actual vs Budget).
• Implement thorough analysis of financial results, (level of profitability, appropriateness of costs incurred, adequacy of the fee structure).
• Overview financial business plans and feasibility studies.
• Performance review - review procedures relating to the preparation of the institutions plans / budgets / forecasts and controls pertaining to key finance activities, monitor adherence to the relevant processes, policies and take timely action in case of deviations.
• Enhance financial and accounting systems, operational processes and internal controls.
• Overview daily/weekly/monthly closing activities including customer, bank reconciliations.
• Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements in compliance
• Responsibility for all tax related matters such as Income & indirect taxes, GST, import duty, transfer pricing, etc.
• Supervise the payroll administration.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
