Job Description: Assistant Accountant

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Assistant Accountant to join our finance

team. The Assistant Accountant will support the accounting department by performing a variety

of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical

skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

 Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records,

including invoices, receipts, payments, and transactions.

 Data Entry: Input financial data into accounting software and ensure the accuracy of all

entries.

 Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, track payments, and manage

accounts payable and receivable.

 Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial

accounts.

 Assist in Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and

annual financial reports.

 Support Audits: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary

documentation and information.

 Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the accounting department

as needed.

Qualifications:

 Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a

related field.

 Experience: 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.

 Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., BUSY,Tally etc) and

Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).

 Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

 Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in work.

 Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹29,406.00 per month
