Job Summary
We seek a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with expertise in GST reconciliation and financial accounting. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate tax compliance, manage financial records, and support the organization's financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
GST Reconciliation:
Prepare and manage GST reconciliation for purchases and sales.
Ensure accurate filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual returns.
Resolve discrepancies and coordinate with vendors for input tax credit mismatches.
Accounting & Compliance:
Maintain day-to-day financial records and ensure accurate ledger postings.
Process accounts payable and receivable.
Handle TDS calculations and ensure timely payment and return filing.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Assist in budget preparation and financial planning.
Audits & Coordination:
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documents and reports.
Coordinate with tax consultants and government authorities for compliance requirements.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2-3 years of professional experience in accounting with a focus on GST reconciliation.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books).
Strong knowledge of GST laws, TDS, and financial reporting standards.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
