Accounts Executive (Chennai Location)

Position Overview

The Accounts Executive will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting operations, financial transactions, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to support the finance team in ensuring smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting records including vouchers, invoices, receipts, and payments.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Prepare bank reconciliation statements, journal entries, and general ledger updates.
• Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support statutory compliance including GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other filings.
• Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, and auditors for financial documentation.
• Assist in payroll processing and expense management.
• Monitor petty cash transactions and maintain proper documentation.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of financial records.
• Perform any other finance-related tasks as assigned by the management.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting/finance (freshers with strong knowledge can be considered).
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, ERP, or similar) and MS Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and statutory compliances.
• Good communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Knowledge of multiple languages will be an added advantage.
