Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated B.Com Fresher to join our Chartered Accountancy firm. The candidate will assist in accounting, compliance, and auditing work and gain hands-on exposure to practical aspects of taxation, audits, and statutory compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounting

• Entry of accounting data in Tally / accounting software
• Bank reconciliation, ledger scrutiny, and preparation of trial balance
• Assisting in preparation of financial statements

Compliance & Taxation

• Assisting in GST compliance – returns, reconciliations, and documentation
• Supporting Income Tax filings and basic computations
• Maintaining statutory records and compliance documentation

Audit & Assurance

• Assisting seniors in statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits
• Preparation of audit working papers and schedules
• Verification of vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents

General Responsibilities

• Coordinating with clients for data and documents
• Maintaining proper filing (physical and digital)
• Any other work assigned by seniors / partners

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles
• Familiarity with Tally, MS Excel, and MS Word
• Willingness to learn and ability to follow instructions
• Good communication and time-management skills
• Attention to detail and professional attitude
