Accounts Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant (Fresher) to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in daily accounting operations, help maintain accurate financial records, and support senior accountants in preparing reports and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in day-to-day accounting entries (sales, purchases, receipts, and payments).
• Support in maintaining general ledgers and journals.
• Prepare and verify invoices, bills, and bank statements.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
• Perform basic reconciliations (bank, vendor, and customer accounts).
• Help in filing and documentation of financial data.
• Coordinate with internal teams for data collection and verification.
• Support the finance team in audits and compliance activities.

Required Skills:

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Familiarity with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems preferred).
• Good analytical and numerical ability.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under supervision and learn quickly.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal).

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field (B.Com / M.Com / BBA / MBA – Finance).
