Job Description

The Job:

Accounts Assistant

Education Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree:

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field from a recognized university or institute. A higher degree such as a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration may be preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 2-3 yearsTally ERP 9, Tally Prime,MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)

Roles and Responsibilities:

Payment

Take the prior approval from Head of the Institution and registrar before doing any payment
Be responsible for all the payments

Receipt

Monitor Students online payment
Generate a receipt based on the payment.
Update of fee structure to the software team through which the fee is received.
Monitor the accounts book of students’ association and professional body and any other associated accounts
Process Gratuity and do the payment
Do IT calculations
Do Salary calculation based on deductions
Be responsible for all types of refunds
Do reconciliation of bank accounts
Generate bank reconciliation report & submit the same to the auditor k) Submit GST bills to auditor at the end of the month
Do the submission of TDS deducted statements to auditor at the end of the month
To attend any other work that will be assigned by the higher authorities.
