Accounts Assistant

An Accounting Assistant needs to support the finance team by handling daily bookkeeping, processing invoices/payments, maintaining accurate financial records (ledgers, expenses), reconciling accounts (bank, vendor statements), and assisting with financial reporting, budgeting, and audits, ensuring data accuracy and compliance while managing administrative tasks like filing and data entry. Key Responsibilities:

• Transaction Processing: Enter and code financial transactions, process accounts payable/receivable, handle expense reports, and manage vendor payments.
• Record Keeping: Maintain organized, accurate digital and physical financial records, journals, and ledgers.
• Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and internal financial records.
• Reporting Support: Help prepare financial statements (balance sheets, P&L) and assist with budget/forecast data.
• Audit Assistance: Gather and present documents for internal and external audits.
• Administrative Duties: Handle calls, emails, data entry, filing, and other general office tasks to support the department.

• Education/Experience: Often requires some accounting education or office experience.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
