Accounting Operations Lead, Cloud Revenue

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in accounting or a related function, or 1 year with an advanced degree in accounting, business, or finance.
• Experience in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), with a focus on Revenue (ASC 606) Accounting in a public accounting or multinational company setting.
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA).
• Experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition standard.
• Ability to work with cross-functional and international teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

As a member of this team, you will advise on financial and accounting matters and will review, analyze, and interpret data for accounting and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed accounting analysis of complex revenue transactions with multiple performance obligations, and prepare adjusting entries, if necessary.
• Work closely with internal business teams to develop scalable and repeatable processes to ensure appropriate revenue recognition.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to streamline end-to-end processes in collaboration with cross-functional leads.
• Perform monthly and quarterly revenue close procedures.
• Assist with ad-hoc accounting projects to support proper revenue recognition in accordance with US GAAP.
