Accounting Intern

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Intern to join our finance team. This internship offers hands-on experience in accounting, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and audit support within a professional work environment. You will gain exposure to real-world accounting processes and learn how financial data drives business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in recording day-to-day accounting transactions (sales, purchases, expenses, and journal entries).
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer ledgers.
• Help in preparing invoices, payment vouchers, and receipts.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
• Support the preparation of management reports and financial statements.
• Assist auditors during internal or external audits.
• Conduct data entry, Excel-based analysis, and assist in financial research.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and automation tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and journal entries.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or SAP).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Good communication and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

• Exposure to GST, TDS, or financial statement preparation.
• Prior internship or project experience in accounting or finance.
