About the Role

Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Daily bookkeeping and accounting entries

• Maintenance of cash book, bank book and ledgers

• Handling accounts payable & receivable

• Bank reconciliation statements

• Monthly expense tracking and reporting

• Supporting audits and documentation requirements

• Preparing vouchers, receipts and payment entries

• Maintaining donation records (preferred)

• Coordinating with the management for financial updates

Preferred Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in accounting

Experience with NGO / Trust / Charitable organisation accounting preferred

• Knowledge of donation accounting, trust compliance or FCRA (optional but beneficial)

• Familiarity with Tally ERP or similar accounting software

Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of basic accounting & bookkeeping

• Proficiency in Tally / Excel

• Accuracy, honesty and attention to detail

• Good communication skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality
