Accountant

You are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to join the team. You will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with regulations, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes. Your role is critical in providing accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries. - Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements. - Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings. - Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other financial laws. - Perform bank reconciliations and other account reconciliations. - Assist with preparing tax returns and working with external auditors. - Provide financial analysis and reporting to management. - Assist in budget preparation and financial planning. - Maintain and update financial procedures and internal controls. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar financial role. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations. - Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar). - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. - Strong organizational and time-management skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively. - Good communication skills, both written and verbal. - Knowledge of tax laws and compliance standards is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: - CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or similar certification is a plus. - Experience in financial analysis and budgeting.
