Accountant

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our Cloth Production House in Kochi.This role is ideal for someone who has prior experience working in retail or boutique settings and is passionate about managing finances efficiently in a creative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including sales, purchases, and expense tracking.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Handle budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Maintain records of accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
• Collaborate with the sales and inventory teams to ensure financial accuracy.
• Assist in tax filings, audits, and compliance requirements.
• Provide financial insights to support business decisions.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Prior experience in a boutique, retail, or store setting is highly preferred.
• Proficient in accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, or similar platforms.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and best practices.
• Ability to create and interpret financial reports and statements.
• Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
