Junior Designer

You are invited to join Alekh as a Junior Fashion Designer with 1-2 years of experience. Your role will involve assisting in the design and development of new collections, ensuring they align with the brand's vision. You will brainstorm, ideate, and sketch new concepts, as well as develop detailed illustrations to showcase design concepts effectively. Additionally, you will manage the design process from conception through to the final fitting, collaborating with the design team on fabric sourcing, color palettes, and patterns. Researching current fashion trends and industry developments will also be part of your responsibilities. You will assist in preparing for photoshoots, presentations, and fashion events, working closely with the production team to meet deadlines and maintain design standards. Handling and executing customization orders to ensure client satisfaction and managing online sales and social media accounts are also key aspects of your role. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors in Fashion Design from NIFT, NID, or similar institutions - 1-2 years of experience in fashion design or a related role - Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc. - Knowledge of fabrics and garment construction - Strong communication skills and a passion for fashion design - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Interested candidates should submit their resume, portfolio, and a cover letter outlining their relevant experience to Alekh via email at studiolukshry@gmail.com.
