Junior Designer

As a Junior Fashion Designer at Alekh, you will be an integral part of our creative team. Your role will involve assisting in the design and development of new collections, ensuring they align with the brand's vision. You will have the opportunity to brainstorm, ideate, and sketch new concepts, as well as develop detailed sketches and illustrations that effectively showcase design concepts. In addition, you will be responsible for managing the design process from conception through to the final fitting, collaborating with the design team on fabric sourcing, color palettes, and patterns. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the design and development of new collections - Brainstorm, ideate, and sketch new concepts - Develop detailed sketches and illustrations - Manage the design process from conception to final fitting - Collaborate with the design team on fabric sourcing, color palettes, and patterns - Conduct research on current fashion trends and industry developments - Assist in the preparation for photoshoots, presentations, and fashion events - Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines and maintain design standards - Assist in handling and executing customization orders - Manage online sales and social media accounts Qualifications Required: - Bachelors in Fashion Design from NIFT, NID, or similar institutions - 1-2 years of experience in fashion design or a related role - Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop - Knowledge of fabrics and garment construction - Strong communication skills and a passion for fashion design - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment If you are passionate about fashion design and have the required qualifications and experience, we encourage you to apply for this full-time position.
