Accountant

Job Summary: The Accountant will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting audits. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and update accounting records, ledgers, and financial reports. Handle day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances. Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Liaise with auditors, banks, and government authorities as required. Assist with inventory control and costing related to raw materials and production. Generate MIS reports for management decision-making. Ensure timely filing of returns and submission of financial documentation. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (B.Com/M.Com/CA Inter preferred). Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a construction or manufacturing environment. Proficient in accounting software Tally ERP. Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting standards. Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Skills: Experience with inventory and job costing. Working knowledge of MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.). Familiarity with audit processes and statutory compliance.
