Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support our finance team in managing day-to-day accounting activities. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, assisting in preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Record day-to-day financial transactions in accounting software (Tally/ERP/SAP/QuickBooks).
Assist in preparing and maintaining ledgers, trial balance, profit & loss account, and balance sheet.
Process invoices, payments, and receipts.
Assist in bank reconciliation and vendor account reconciliation.
Support in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance filing.
Prepare expense reports and petty cash handling.
must know tally prime.
Assist in internal and external audits.
Coordinate with other departments for finance-related queries.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance or related field.
5+ years of experience in accounting or internship in a finance role.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally, ERP, or similar).
Good communication and organizational skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
Hands-on experience with reconciliations and reporting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
