Accountant

Role Overview: As an accountant, you play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Your responsibilities include managing financial transactions, analyzing financial data, preparing financial statements, and providing financial insights to support informed decision-making processes. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software such as Tally. - Prepare and file Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. - Calculate and process income tax liabilities for individuals or businesses and file income tax returns. - Prepare and interpret financial statements, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. - Ensure effective cash management by monitoring cash flow, preparing cash forecasts, and managing bank reconciliations. - Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making processes and identify areas for cost savings or revenue generation. - Prepare and submit financial reports to management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities. - Generate and analyze Management Information System (MIS) reports to support strategic planning and performance monitoring. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications like Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) are advantageous. - Strong knowledge and experience with accounting software, such as Tally, QuickBooks, or SAP. - In-depth understanding of taxation laws and regulations, including GST, income tax, and TDS. - Proficiency in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements. - Analytical mindset and attention to detail to ensure accurate financial reporting and data analysis. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders. - Strong organizational and time management abilities to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. - Proficiency in using spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel) and financial analysis tools. - Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards (e.g., Generally Accepted Accounting Principles - GAAP).,
