Role Description

This is a full-time Accountant role located on-site in Jalandhar, Punjab. The Accountant will handle daily financial operations, including maintaining and reconciling accounts, processing invoices, and preparing financial statements. The role requires compliance with applicable accounting principles, tax regulations, and company guidelines. Collaborating with team members and other departments will be an integral part of ensuring accurate financial records and reporting.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of accounting practices, including account reconciliation, financial reporting, and general ledger maintenance
Proficiency in using accounting software and tools for maintaining accurate records and bookkeeping
Attention to detail, a high level of accuracy, and strong analytical skills
Effective communication, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively with team members
Prior experience in tax compliance and regulations is an advantage
Relevant academic qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CA/CPA certification is a plus
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment with excellent organizational skills
