Job Description

Job Title: Accountant
Location: Jalandhar, Punjab
Company: Make Me Travel

Accountant to join our team in Jalandhar. Candidates with prior experience in the travel industry will be given priority .

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and general ledger.
Prepare and maintain financial records, invoices, and vouchers in compliance with company policies.
Monitor and manage client accounts, vendor payments, and refunds.
Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Collaborate with management to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Ensure accuracy and timeliness in MIS reporting.
Coordinate with auditors and external agencies as required.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.
5–6 years of proven experience as an Accountant (experience in the travel industry will be highly preferred).
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, ERP, MS Excel, etc.).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
