Accountant

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the company’s financial records and ensure compliance with Indian accounting standards and statutory requirements. The role involves handling day-to-day accounting, GST, TDS, bank reconciliations, and supporting audits. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in Indian taxation laws, statutory compliance, and accounting software such as Tally, Zoho books, Quick books, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate accounting records as per 

  Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS)

  .
• Handle 

  day-to-day bookkeeping, journal entries, and ledger maintenance

  .
• Prepare 

  GST returns, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory compliances

  .
• Manage 

  accounts payable and receivable

  , including vendor and customer reconciliations.
• Conduct 

  bank reconciliation statements

   (BRS) and cash flow management.
• Support in 

  finalization of accounts, balance sheet, and P&L statements

  .
• Assist auditors during statutory, tax, and internal audits.
• Monitor and control petty cash transactions.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with 

  Income Tax Act, Companies Act, and other applicable laws

  .
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance
• 1–5 years of accounting experience in India.
• Strong knowledge of 

  GST, TDS, and Indian taxation laws

  .
• Hands-on experience with 

  Tally ERP, Zoho Books, Quick Books, or other accounting software

  .
• Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint and financial reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate across the organization and business clients.
