We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the company’s financial records and ensure compliance with Indian accounting standards and statutory requirements. The role involves handling day-to-day accounting, GST, TDS, bank reconciliations, and supporting audits. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in Indian taxation laws, statutory compliance, and accounting software such as Tally, Zoho books, Quick books, etc. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate accounting records as per Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) . Handle day-to-day bookkeeping, journal entries, and ledger maintenance . Prepare GST returns, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory compliances . Manage accounts payable and receivable , including vendor and customer reconciliations. Conduct bank reconciliation statements (BRS) and cash flow management. Support in finalization of accounts, balance sheet, and P&L statements . Assist auditors during statutory, tax, and internal audits. Monitor and control petty cash transactions. Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management. Ensure compliance with Income Tax Act, Companies Act, and other applicable laws . Other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance 1–5 years of accounting experience in India. Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian taxation laws . Hands-on experience with Tally ERP, Zoho Books, Quick Books, or other accounting software . Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint and financial reporting. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Ability to collaborate across the organization and business clients.
