Key Responsibilities

• Verify sales and purchase entries against GST returns monthly and rectify discrepancies
• Reconcile bank and loan statements with book entries ensuring 100% matching
• Clear suspense accounts by coordinating with clients within 15 days
• Reconcile GST, TDS, PT, PF, ESI monthly with filed returns
• Conduct quarterly debtor-creditor confirmations and resolve differences
  

• Identify TDS applicability, compute correctly, and file quarterly returns before due dates
• Prepare and file all applicable GST returns (GSTR-1, 3B, 4, 6, 7, 9, 9C, CMP-08) as per compliance calendar
• Prepare income tax returns with optimal tax planning and regime analysis
• Handle ROC filings including annual returns, event-based forms, and compliance documents
• Ensure RCM and 86B compliance with accurate GST reporting
  

• Prepare comprehensive responses for all 44 clauses of tax audit form with complete documentation
• Conduct detailed ledger scrutiny identifying unusual transactions and misclassifications
• Prepare books-GST return reconciliation statements with documented explanations
• Compile all audit documentation including schedules, reconciliations, and working papers
• Respond to audit queries promptly with supporting documents and necessary adjustments
  

• Send timely reminders for document submission as per monthly/quarterly checklist
• Maintain compliance calendars and send 7-day advance notifications for due dates
• Resolve client queries within 24 hours; escalate complex issues appropriately
• Share monthly status reports covering completed work, pending items, and upcoming compliances
• Provide preliminary guidance on routine tax and compliance matters
