REPORTING TO : Manager – Accounts & Finance
To be located in Cochin with occasional travel to Munnar
JOB ROLE:
Accountant shall be responsible for execution of all accounting activities for all the companies in the group as per the specified standards and SOPs by audit and compliance Guidelines.
Thorough knowledge in Tally ERP is mandatory for this role
Key Responsibility Areas
· Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded on Daily Basis
· Responsible for accounts receivable and issue invoices and follow ups
· Responsible for accounts payable, banking, fund flow and reconciliations
· Responsible for preparing and filing Statutory payments for EPF/ ESI, GST & TDS
· Responsible for processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to company accounting and financial guidelines
· Responsible for reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
· Update financial data to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
· Prepare and submit Daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports for plantations & Diary Farm Division
· Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
· Assist with other accounting projects
· Assist with Budget preparations and monthly performance reviews.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
