Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant who will manage day-to-day accounting operations along with assisting in basic administrative activities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in bookkeeping, maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and managing office-related documentation.

The role requires proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, and general administrative coordination to ensure smooth office functioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day accounting operations, entries, and reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate records of receipts, payments, and petty cash.
  • Prepare and manage invoices, purchase orders, and vendor payment records.
  • Assist in monthly and yearly financial closing activities.
  • Maintain proper filing of accounting documents, bills, and vouchers.
  • Prepare expense statements and assist in budget tracking.
  • Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal teams regarding financial matters.
  • Support administrative functions such as documentation, correspondence, and office coordination.
  • Manage office supplies, maintain attendance records, and handle basic HR/admin tasks as assigned.
  • Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in all accounting and administrative tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent qualification.
  • 1–3 years of experience in accounting and office administration.
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP / accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
  • Good organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work efficiently.
  • Attention to detail, integrity, and a professional attitude.
  • Willingness to take initiative and assist in day-to-day office operations.
