Accountant

Responsibilities: Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. Prepare Sale / Purchase / Cash & Journal entries and perform basic reconciliations of accounts. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports. Support senior accountants and finance team with month-end close processes. Maintain financial records and ensure accuracy of entries in accounting systems. Perform data entry tasks and maintain documentation and filing systems. Provide support for general administrative tasks within the finance department. Requirements: Minimum Bachelors degree in Commerce. Strong understanding of basic accounting principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel). Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Internship or academic projects in accounting or finance preferred but not required. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally) Understanding of financial reporting standards (GAAP). Ability to adapt and learn new technologies and systems quickly. Eagerness to grow and develop in a dynamic accounting environment.
