Job Description

Position Overview: EquityPandit Financial Services Private Limited is seeking an experienced Accountant with solid knowledge of accounting principles and hands-on experience with Tally software. You’ll be responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining financial records, reconciling statements, and supporting audits. Key Responsibilities: Record day-to-day financial transactions in Tally Prepare and maintain books of accounts (sales, purchases, receipts, payments, etc.) Handle GST, TDS, and other tax-related filings and compliance Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Perform bank reconciliations and vendor account reconciliations Support internal and external audits Maintain supporting documentation and ensure accuracy in reporting Coordinate with CA or the finance team for statutory requirements Requirements: Proficient in Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime Good understanding of accounting standards and tax regulations (GST, TDS, etc.) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Working knowledge of MS Excel and basic reporting tools Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Experience: 2-3 years Qualifications: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field
