Job Opening: Office Accountant (Full-Time)

  • Location: Bhubaneswar, Odisha
  • Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site
  • Experience: 2–3 Years
  • Salary: ₹10,000 – ₹20,000 (Based on experience)

About Us:

We are a dynamic and fast-growing firm engaged in Civil Engineering and Architectural Consultancy. With a team of passionate professionals, we are looking for a smart, reliable, and detail-oriented Accountant to take charge of our financial operations, office administration, and vendor coordination activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions using Tally ERP9 / Tally Prime
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including timely vendor payments and follow-ups
  • Maintain accurate records of staff attendance and office-related documentation
  • Handle GST, TDS, and other tax-related compliances
  • Manage bank reconciliations, petty cash, invoice processing, and related documentation
  • Organize and maintain filing systems and financial records
  • Provide administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations of the office
  • Handle vendor communication, coordination, and relationship management
  • Facilitate effective communication between internal departments and external agencies
  • Draft professional emails, letters, and basic HR/administrative correspondence
  • Coordinate with the CA firm for audits, statutory filings, and taxation matters
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial closings
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss accounts

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounting and office administration
  • Experience working with a CA firm will be an added advantage
  • Proficient in Tally ERP9 / Tally Prime, MS Excel, and MS Word
  • Solid understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements
  • Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in vendor management, office coordination, and general back-office support
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi/Odia
  • A professional attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-first mindset
