Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Maintain day-to-day accounting records and ledgers (Accounts Payable/Receivable, General Ledger, Journal Entries)
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts regularly
Manage invoice processing, payment runs, and collection follow-ups
Assist with cost accounting and inventory reconciliation
Prepare GST, TDS, and other statutory returns and ensure timely compliance
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data flow
Use accounting software/ERP systems (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle) to record and report transactions

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com, M.Com, or CA Inter preferred)
[2–5] years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, MS Excel)
Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance
Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
Good communication and organizational abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the steel industry or heavy manufacturing
Familiarity with cost accounting and inventory systems
Knowledge of Indian tax laws and statutory compliance

Pay: ₹9,631.97 - ₹35,000.00 per month
