Overview:

The Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing all financial data entry, invoice processing, purchase order approvals and other accounting functions. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The Accountant will ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial transactions and provide essential support to the finance team.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Record daily credit and debit transactions in Tally.
• Prepare Purchase Orders (POs), invoices, credit notes, debit notes, and challans accurately and timely.
• Maintain vendor wise ledger, PDC
• Enter financial data accurately into systems and maintain organised, up-to-date records.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of monthly and annual statutory compliances, including TDS, PF, GST returns, Income Tax filing, and other regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and submit regular financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets, and assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain proper records of raw materials and finished goods inventory.
• Identify and implement improvements to streamline accounting processes.
• Provide required financial reports and business data during audit, compliance checking etc.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in accounting or a similar role in D2C company
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Have a basic understanding of tax regulations and compliance.
