Job Description

About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting accurate and timely financial reporting. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions. Prepare and reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements. Handle accounts payable and receivable processes. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations. Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth financial operations. Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.Qualifications & SkillsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. (CA/CPA/ICWA qualification preferred but not mandatory.) Experience: 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance. Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS). Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) Advanced MS Excel skills. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
