You will be part of a dedicated team at PowerSchool, focused on powering personalized education for students globally. As the global leader of cloud-based software for K-12 education, PowerSchool supports the entire educational ecosystem from the central office to the classroom and home. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and process monthly journal entries in compliance with established policies, procedures, and GAAP. - Ensure accounting transactions comply with company policies and are accurately recorded in financial records. - Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements to enhance operational efficiencies and quality. - Responsible for accurate and timely unit accounting and reporting. - Coordinate internal and external audits. - Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Corporate laws, Tax Laws (Direct & Indirect), including GST. - Ensure statutory compliance and filings. - Research transactions and general ledger accounts, analyze data, and present findings to supervisors. - Assist the Accounting department with special projects as needed. Qualifications: - Commerce Graduate / CA Inter / IPC with 4-8 years of hands-on relevant experience. - Proficient in Microsoft Office; Outlook, Excel, and Power Point. - Experience with NetSuite (Preferred) and Tally (Optional). - Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. - Effective presentation, organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills. - Articulate communication skills with the ability to drive a phone conversation. - Capable of working independently without constant supervision while collaborating within a team. - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities concurrently. - Possesses personal characteristics such as intellectual curiosity to be a problem solver.,
