Accountant 2

Role Overview: Intuit is seeking an Accountant 2 to join their Controllership, Assurance, & Operations organization as part of the Shared Services team in Bangalore, India. As a member of the Finance team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and profitability through strategic, financial, and operational leadership. Key Responsibilities: - Gather, prepare, test, and maintain documentation to support monthly accruals via the Service PO Accrual Process (SPOA). - Review and verify PO coding for compliance with accounting policies and principles. - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate accounting assessment for PO transactions. - Interpret GAAP accounting requirements and ensure proper recording of accounting entries. - Partner with various teams to prepare monthly accruals and resolve coding discrepancies. - Assist with the preparation and analysis of monthly accrual data. - Cross-train and provide coverage for other Corporate Accounting areas as needed. - Design and assess desk procedures and process flows to optimize internal controls and efficiency. - Contribute to special projects and other assigned duties. Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience preferred. - Familiarity with accrual accounting concepts. - Knowledge of Blackline, Quickbase, QlikSense, and Google Workspace is a plus. - Proficiency in Excel. - Detail-oriented with a strong process orientation. - Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills. - Effective communication, documentation, and analytical abilities with attention to detail. - Strong customer service and relationship-building skills for effective cross-functional collaboration. - Capacity to handle high volumes of work.
