Account Opening Operations

Desired Profile

• 3 - 4 years of experience in a client-facing / PMS & AIF service management role.
• Experience in the Financial Services industry, preferably in AMC / PMS / AIF / Wealth Management / Broking Industry, will be an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of accountancy (what is a balance sheet / profit and loss).
• Should have knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Should know how to empathize with irate clients to resolve their issues.
• Should be good at explaining concepts related to products, fee computation, processes, etc.
• Methodical approach – deliberate, detail-oriented, and able to diagnose client issues diligently.
• Fluent in English with persuasive speaking and writing skills. Good collaboration skills are a must.
• Candidate from central line will be preferred.
  

Key Responsibilities

• Knowledge of the account opening process and ability to undertake the verification process for different types of accounts opened under PMS & AIF businesses, Demat account opening, etc.
• KYC specialist who understands SEBI KYC norms and has worked in account opening and KYC documentation checking for the financial services industry, preferably PMS/AIF, Demat Operations, and Broking.
• Manage stakeholders (internal and external) such as custodians, banks, brokers, and internal departments to service requests and resolve client queries.
• Manage client call and email volumes for queries related to their portfolio transactions, performance, fees, and expenses.
• CRM record management and maintenance of records of all client service requests and conversations.
• Execute financial and non-financial transactions and process paperwork such as redemption, SIP, BCR, FCR, nomination, KYC modification, etc.
