Account Manager

As the Accounts Manager at our company in Siliguri, your role will involve overseeing the entire accounting function with a focus on accurate financial records, timely reporting, regulatory compliance, and smooth day-to-day finance operations. It is essential to possess strong leadership, analytical skills, and hands-on experience in team management and stakeholder interactions. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise daily accounting operations such as AP, AR, bank reconciliations, ledger maintenance, and cash flow management. - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. - Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, PT, and Income Tax. - Coordinate with both internal and external auditors during audit processes. - Maintain accurate records for audits, taxation purposes, and management information system (MIS) reports. - Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. - Monitor internal controls and accounting procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy. - Oversee banking relationships and fund management activities. - Lead and provide training to a team of accountants and support staff. - Assist the Director and senior management in strategic financial planning. - Prepare and present periodic MIS reports and financial dashboards to the management. Required Skills: - Thorough knowledge of accounting standards, GST regulations, and income tax rules. - Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting/ERP software. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to effectively manage a team and handle multiple tasks within tight deadlines. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
