Account Assistant

About the Role: We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant & Inventory Executive to manage our daily accounts, inventory of garments and fabrics, and ensure smooth backend operations. The ideal candidate should be organized, proactive, and comfortable using accounting and garment management software. Key Responsibilities: Accounting & Finance: Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally or similar software. Handle all cash vouchers, petty cash, and daily billing. Prepare monthly salary statements and manage staff payments. Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts. Assist in preparing monthly MIS reports. Inventory & Store Management: Track and maintain inventory of garments, fabrics, trims, and accessories. Update inward and outward stock on software daily. Coordinate with production and retail teams for accurate stock movement. Oversee barcoding of garments through inventory software (e.g., BarTender, Ginesys, or similar). Other Responsibilities: Support audits and ensure accurate documentation of all financial records. Ensure smooth coordination between accounting, production, and sales teams. Maintain discipline and accuracy in all operational processes. Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance. 2–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the fashion or garment industry. Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and inventory software. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
