We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records, compliance with regulatory requirements, and timely financial reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills, leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of accounting principles. Key Responsibilities:Manage general ledger and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Lead month-end and year-end closing processes. Monitor and analyze accounting data; produce financial reports and forecasts. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, laws, and regulations (e.g., GAAP, IFRS, GST, TDS). Assist with budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control initiatives. Supervise and support junior accounting staff and provide mentorship. Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits. Reconcile accounts, including bank statements, vendor ledgers, and inter-company accounts. Manage accounts payable and receivable functions as needed. Support tax filings and other statutory compliances. Implement process improvements and internal controls for financial efficiency and integrity.

Data Input: Accurately and efficiently enter data from physical or electronic documents into computer systems, databases, or spreadsheets. Data Verification & Correction: Review entered data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency, identifying and correcting any discrepancies or errors. Data Management: Organize, update, and maintain digital databases and filing systems. Data Security: Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations. Reporting: Compile and export data to generate spreadsheets, documents, and reports as needed.
