Accessibility Developer

We are looking for an experienced Accessibility Developer with a strong background in accessibility engineering and enterprise-scale development. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in Drupal, Salesforce, and Appian platforms with proven skills in accessibility automation, compliance testing, and remediation. This role requires hands-on development and integration of accessibility best practices into modern enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement accessibility solutions across Drupal, Salesforce, and Appian platforms.
• Build and maintain accessibility automation frameworks (Selenium + Axe, Cypress, etc.) to ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
• Conduct accessibility testing, produce VPATs, and support ADA/Section 508 compliance initiatives.
• Integrate accessibility checks into CI/CD pipelines for enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UI/UX designers, developers, QA engineers, and product managers) to embed accessibility practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Provide guidance on accessibility remediation strategies and advocate for inclusive design.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of total software development experience, with at least 2 years focused on accessibility engineering.
• Strong development experience in Drupal, Salesforce, and Appian platforms.
• Hands-on expertise with front-end technologies (Angular, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and back-end integration (REST APIs, Spring Boot).
• Solid understanding of WCAG 2.0/2.1 AA, ADA, Section 508 standards.
• Proficiency in accessibility automation and testing tools:
• Selenium, Cypress, Axe-core, Jasmine, Karma, Postman
• Screen readers: JAWS, NVDA
• Evaluation tools: Siteimprove, WAVE
• Experience with accessibility integration into CI/CD workflows.

Education & Certifications

• B. Tech in Computer Science (or equivalent).
• IAAP WAS (Web Accessibility Specialist) Certified.
• DHS Trusted Tester v5 Certified.

Preferred Skills

• Strong problem-solving ability with experience in script-driven workflows for accessibility.
• Familiarity with Appian accessibility frameworks.
• Experience working in Agile enterprise environments.
• Ability to mentor teams on accessibility best practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹14,493.85 - ₹77,079.67 per month
