Job Description

As an Access Customer Service Representative (CSR) at BTCS, your role is crucial in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support for the Access program. Your responsibilities will include: - Conducting non-clinical screenings - Performing financial assessments - Verifying insurance details - Addressing inquiries - Collaborating with team members - Data entry - Appointment scheduling Special emphasis will be on tasks related to the Determination of Intellectual Disability (DID) within the IDD Intake process. You must develop proficiency in DID scheduling, contractor communication, report management, and billing functions. Ensuring accurate service documentation and meticulous data entry in the Electronic Health Record will be essential. You will also maintain comprehensive records while upholding exceptional customer interaction and service standards. Serving as the primary point of contact for community members, you will represent BTCS by providing a warm, professional, and supportive experience to clients. Effective communication skills, strong organizational capabilities, and dedication to exemplary service in a fast-paced, client-centric environment are crucial for success. The ideal candidate will excel in a dynamic, integrated environment, prioritizing individual needs while adhering to BTCS values and standards. Location: Any location within the catchment area, with potential for both on-site and remote work. This part-time position has an FTE of 50% with an hourly salary range of $23.02 - $27.77, with additional differentials available: - $0.75/hour for bilingual proficiency - $1.00/hour for tenure with BTCS - $1.00/hour for career ladder specialty - Up to $2.00/hour for previous experience with a community center in a similar role **Minimum Qualifications:** - High school diploma or GED - Ability to organize workspace and activities independently - Capable of following oral and written instructions - Proficiency in inputting information into an electronic health record - Ability to remain composed and focused in a fast-paced environment - Skilled in interacting with clients, families, and colleagues with tact and diplomacy - Collaborative work approach with various teams and contractors - Possession of a valid Texas driver's license and maintenance of approved driver status throughout employment **Preferred Qualifications:** - Front desk experience and familiarity with financial processes in a behavioral health setting - Fluency in English/Spanish is highly preferred - Knowledge of insurance company procedures The closing date for applications is open until filled.,
