Job Description The Access Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and administrative support for the Access program, which is integral to the intake and enrollment process for all BTCS programs. This position seeks a proactive and empathetic individual who can effectively manage a variety of tasks, including conducting non-clinical screenings with individuals seeking services, performing financial assessments, verifying insurance information, answering calls, directing inquiries to the appropriate staff, collaborating with interdisciplinary team members, data entry, and scheduling appointments, with a special focus on tasks related to the Determination of Intellectual Disability (DID) in the IDD Intake process. The Access CSR will obtain and maintain expertise in DID scheduling, communication with contractors, report handling, and functions related to billing. In addition to these responsibilities, the CSR will ensure accurate service documentation and data entry in the Electronic Health Record, maintaining detailed records while upholding high standards of customer engagement and service delivery. Often the first point of contact for most community members seeking services, the CSR must embody the BTCS mission, providing a welcoming, professional, and supportive experience for the individuals we serve. This role demands strong communication skills, organizational ability, and a commitment to providing top-tier service in a fast-paced, people-oriented environment. Connection with individuals will be virtual and in-person.
