Acceleration Center – Developer

Position: Acceleration Center – Developer with our client PWC (PricewaterhouseCoopers) Location: Remote Experience Level: 7–10 Years Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Serverless Developer to join Client’s Acceleration Center. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS serverless technologies, Node.js, and modern  development practices. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying scalable solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.  Key Responsibilities ·      Collaborate with architects and product owners to define serverless solutions that meet  business needs. ·      Translate requirements into scalable, event-driven AWS Lambda functions in Node.js. ·      Optimize function performance by tuning memory, timeout, and concurrency settings. ·      Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CDK or ·      CloudFormation. ·      Develop and secure RESTful APIs with API Gateway. ·      Integrate Lambda functions with DynamoDB, S3, SNS/SQS, EventBridge, and Step ·      Functions. ·      Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline/CodeBuild, GitHub Actions, or ·      Jenkins. ·      Monitor application health with CloudWatch metrics, logs, and X-Ray; respond to ·      operational incidents. ·      Apply security best practices: IAM least-privilege, secrets management, and encryption. ·      Write and execute unit and integration tests with Jest or Mocha; mock AWS services ·      for reliability. ·      Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives). ·      Prepare technical design documents, status updates, and knowledge-sharing sessions. ·      Mandatory Skills ·      Proven experience designing, developing, and deploying AWS Lambda functions. ·      Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and the Node.js ecosystem (npm, async/await, ·      testing frameworks). ·      Hands-on experience with DynamoDB, S3, SNS/SQS, EventBridge, Step Functions. ·      Expertise in AWS CDK constructs for provisioning serverless infrastructure. ·      CI/CD pipeline setup with AWS CodePipeline/CodeBuild, GitHub Actions, or  Jenkins. ·      Ability to build and secure RESTful APIs using API Gateway. ·      Monitoring and troubleshooting with CloudWatch Logs/Metrics and AWS X-Ray. ·      Strong understanding of IAM best practices, KMS encryption, and secure parameter ·      management (SSM Parameter Store, Secrets Manager). ·      Strong testing discipline with unit and integration tests (Jest, Mocha). ·      Experience working in Agile teams with effective communication and collaboration. ·      Knowledge of software architecture and design patterns. ·      Experience in estimation, team leadership, code reviews, and mentoring. ·      Worked on at least two AWS serverless implementations.  Nice-to-Have Skills ·      Experience with CloudForge or MuleSoft Integration. ·      Prior experience working in Scrum teams.
