Academic Counselor

Knovista Technologies is looking for a skilled and empathetic Academic Counselor with 2-3 years of experience, specifically within the ed-tech sector. The ideal candidate will be a crucial link between our educational programs and students, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to help them achieve their academic and career goals.

Responsibilities

• Student Counseling: Provide one-on-one and group counseling to students, addressing academic challenges, career aspirations, and personal development.
• Program Guidance: Advise prospective and current students on the various courses and programs offered by Knovista, ensuring they choose the best fit for their needs.
• Student Success: Monitor student progress and well-being, proactively identifying and addressing issues that may hinder their success.
• Ed-tech Integration: Leverage our ed-tech platforms and tools to enhance the counseling process and provide data-driven insights to students.
• Parent/Guardian Communication: Act as a liaison between the company, students, and their parents/guardians, providing regular updates on performance and progress.
• Feedback & Reporting: Collect student feedback to help improve course offerings and report on key metrics related to student engagement and success.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the content, marketing, and technical teams to ensure a seamless student experience.

Requirements

• Experience: 2-3 years of experience as an academic counselor, student advisor, or a similar role.
• Ed-tech Background: Proven experience working in the ed-tech industry is a must.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Education, Psychology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Skills:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Empathy and a genuine desire to help students succeed.
• Familiarity with CRM software and data analysis.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
