student-centric and result-oriented Academic Counsellor

for our Dehradun centre. The role involves guiding students and parents, understanding academic needs, counselling them on the right programs, and ensuring high enrolment conversion while maintaining strong academic integrity.Key ResponsibilitiesCounsel students and parents regarding Toprankers’ academic programs, courses, and learning pathwaysUnderstand student goals, academic background, and exam requirements to recommend appropriate solutionsHandle walk-ins, inbound leads, telephonic and online counselling inquiriesDrive enrolments and achieve monthly admission and revenue targetsMaintain accurate student data, follow-ups, and counselling records in CRM systemsCoordinate with academic teams, faculty, and centre operations for seamless student onboardingParticipate in outreach activities such as seminars, school/college visits, workshops, and eventsAddress student and parent concerns with empathy and claritySupport retention initiatives by maintaining strong post-enrolment relationships

Required Skills & Qualifications

1–4 years of experience in academic counselling, education sales, student advisory, or related rolesStrong communication skills in English and Hindi (local language knowledge is a plus)Ability to connect with students and parents and build trustTarget-driven mindset with ethical counselling approachBasic proficiency in MS Excel, CRM tools, and digital communication platformsWillingness to work on weekends and during peak admission cycles

Preferred Candidate Profile
