2D Line Producer

As a 2D Line Producer, you play a critical role in leading and managing the 2D production team of the company. Leveraging on your extensive experience and Knowledge of the industry, your responsibility ranges from understanding client’s vision and scope of work, preparing bids, monitoring of the projects – Schedule and cost and improving team efficiency and productivity through strategic approach 

Job Role:

1. To Understand the scope of work for the project and communicate with the creative team for right allocation of resources and bid accurately.
2. To have a good understanding of all aspects of CG pipelines, know the processes, the creative challenges and the software used by the artists.
3. To develop new tools and processes for smooth functioning of the production department.
4. To Effectively plan and manage the project using production pipeline, organization software and project management tools.
5. To keep a close track and monitor the actual cost of the projects vis-à-vis the budgets. To have the ability to course correct in case the need so arises.
6. The ability to anticipate any issues that might occur during the project, adapt to changing timescales and technical issues
7. To present the Periodic reports to the management on the status of all the projects. In case of any concerns to communicate the same in timely manner.
8. Confident in giving direction and leading a team, communicate well with everyone, create a positive atmosphere within the team.
9. Communicate well with the show producers / clients, keep them informed it things don’t go to plan, be diplomatic and build good relationships with them keeping the long-term objective of the studio in mind.
10. Be aware of the market landscape and industry developments.
11. To have a growth and business-oriented mindset for scaling up the CGI Unit of the studio, strategically

Requirements / Skill Set:

• Good Understanding of the Animation, media and Visual effects industry.
• Planning, Budgeting, organizing, Monitoring and control measures.
• Strong Problem-solving ability, leadership quality and business acumen.
• Good Communication and presentation skills.
