Zonal Business Manager – Agri Drone Solutions

About the Position:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Zonal Business Manager to lead our Agri Drone operations across the region. In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth, expanding market presence, and ensuring adoption of our drone-based agriculture services. You will play a key role in building partnerships with farmers, FPOs, cooperatives, agri-dealers, and government bodies, while leading a high-performing sales and service team to achieve business targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Growth & Sales Strategy
  • Drive zonal revenue and service adoption targets by breaking down annual business goals into actionable plans.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities across FPOs, cooperatives, agri-retailers, and large farmers.
  • Ensure execution of product bundles and service packages (spraying, crop monitoring, yield analysis).
  • Team Leadership & Performance
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate Regional Managers, Area Managers, and Field Executives.
  • Set clear targets, monitor performance, and conduct regular reviews to ensure accountability.
  • Support capability building through training on drone solutions, agri-tech applications, and customer engagement.
  • Customer Engagement & Retention
  • Ensure timely resolution of farmer and partner queries to deliver superior customer experience.
  • Actively participate in farmer field demos, awareness programs, and technology workshops.
  • Strengthen brand positioning by promoting success stories and case studies in the region.
  • Market Intelligence & Competition Tracking
  • Monitor competitor activities and emerging agri-tech trends.
  • Provide actionable insights to management for product/service improvement.
  • Identify and capitalize on new growth opportunities, including government projects and subsidies.
  • Operations & Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, and safety standards in drone operations.
  • Coordinate with service teams for smooth deployment, maintenance, and after-sales support.
  • Support successful product and service launches within the assigned region.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Agri-inputs, Agri-machinery, or Agri-tech sales/operations (drone/precision farming experience preferred).
  • Strong understanding of farming practices, FPO/Cooperative models, and agri-retail distribution networks.
  • Proven track record of leading multi-level teams and delivering sales growth under challenging conditions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in regional language(s) and familiarity with local agricultural ecosystems.
  • Strong planning, analytical, and organizational abilities with a problem-solving mindset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
