Job Summary:
The Zonal Head - Sales and Marketing is responsible for driving the strategic direction, growth, and management of all sales and marketing functions across two sterling hospitals in Ahmedabad. This role encompasses the development and execution of comprehensive strategies to enhance the hospital's market share, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and generate new business opportunities. The role will focus on Doctor's Relations, Corporate Relations, Insurance & TPA Relations, Marketing Communication, Community Connect, and New Business Development. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned leader with a deep understanding of the healthcare industry and proven experience in sales and marketing at a regional or zonal level.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement a zonal sales strategy aligned with the hospital's overall business objectives.
- Drive revenue growth through effective management of Doctor's Relations, Corporate Relations, Insurance & TPA Relations, and New Business Development.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges.
2. Doctor's Relations
- Build and nurture relationships with doctors, specialists, and healthcare providers to drive patient referrals to the hospital.
- Develop referral programs to increase engagement and collaboration with the medical community.
- Monitor and ensure the effectiveness of referral processes and address any issues or barriers.
3. Corporate Relations
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, offering tailored healthcare packages and services.
- Negotiate and manage corporate healthcare agreements, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and service delivery.
- Explore opportunities for corporate wellness programs and other value-added services to enhance partnerships.
4. Insurance & TPA Relations
- Lead the relationship management with insurance companies and Third-Party Administrators (TPAs).
- Negotiate and manage contracts with insurance providers and TPAs, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
5. Marketing Communication
- Oversee the development and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns to promote hospital services and enhance brand visibility.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to create targeted marketing materials, digital campaigns, and content that resonate with the local community and stakeholders.
- Manage public relations, media relations, and internal communications to maintain a positive brand image.
6. Community Connect & Engagement
- Design and implement community outreach programs that align with the hospital's mission and values.
- Organize health camps, awareness programs, and other community engagement activities to build trust and loyalty.
- Collaborate with local organizations, NGOs, and government bodies to address public health needs and create a positive impact.
7. New Business Development
- Identify and explore new business opportunities within the zone, including partnerships, collaborations, and service expansions.
- Conduct market research and feasibility studies to assess potential growth areas.
- Develop business cases and proposals for new initiatives, presenting them to senior management for approval.
Qualifications and Experience:
Education:
MBA in Sales & Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field.Experience:
Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in sales and marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the healthcare industry, preferably in a hospital setting.- Proven track record of success in managing zonal or regional sales and marketing functions, with a strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with doctors, corporates, insurance companies, and other stakeholders.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to travel extensively within the zone as required.
